I’d like you all to think of a lot of low paying service jobs that could be helped by AI. Or physical jobs that are sometimes done by robots like cleaning that could be made better with AI.

Instead, the techbros of the world have decided that the best use for narrow AI is to replace all our creatives, with AI that churns out recycled garbage and can’t make a single joke.

Also yes, that is Grey DeLisle, better known to some as Azula from Avatar: The Last Airbender. Voice actors seem be leading the charge against this for obvious reasons.

There are three kinds of creatives in any sandbox games:

-person breaking the Geneva Conventions,

-person meticulously recreating the most advanced engineering feat of humanity on a 1:1 scale

-the Garry's Mod player who does both as a side effect of using a rocket propelled bathtub.

- the computer scientists who prove you can make logic gates with it

- the hackers who then make the game run doom

Well, this would be interesting...

This will be amazing, though!

Just think about it:

We are in the era after it caused SO MUCH, and caused so many sites to put in blocks and other restrictions to stop it from scraping everything

If they are forced to wipe their entire dataset then they won't be able to get even a fraction of it back!

Not only that, but they would be forced to get permission of the owners for everything they use. Which would IMO, actually kill most of the issues with AI and actually make the technology into something actually useful.
